President Vučić Attends Firing Demonstration at Pasuljanske livade Training Ground
The President of the Republic of Serbia and Commander-in-Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Miloš Vučević, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, attended today the firing demonstration, as the final stage of the training of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces in the operation of the newly introduced weapons and military equipment, at Pasuljanske livade training ground.
President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and members of the Collegiums of the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff also attended today's firing demonstration.
President Vučić expressed satisfaction with the firing demonstration. He said that 743 members of the Serbian Armed Forces participated in the firing demonstration from new and upgraded weapons and emphasized the high importance of the use of rocket artillery.
The focus of attention was on the products from Jugoimport’s production range, employed by the Serbian Armed Forces - multi-purpose armored combat vehicles, Lazar 3, from which firing at the targets from the spot was performed from 12.7 mm machine guns and 30 mm automatic guns.
President Vučić particularly emphasized the importance of the fact that new vehicles "Lazar 3" and "Lazar 3M" with turrets and a 30 mm gun took part in the firing demonstration.
During today's firing demonstration, the members the Serbian Armed Forces, primarily Infantry, proved to be equipped with modern, new and upgraded equipment and trained in the operation of that equipment. By equipping the units with armored combat vehicles and introducing them into the ADE of the Serbian Armed Forces, the maneuverability, firepower, resistance and protection of the Serbian Armed Forces have been significantly improved.
