Minister Vucevic Visits Complex Combat Systems DOO

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Milos Vucevic, visited Complex Combat Systems DOO, a subsidiary of JP Jugoimport-SDPR located in Plyakovo near Kursumlia.

Minister Vucevic met with the management of Jugoimport-SDPR and Complex Combat Systems to discuss the achieved level of production and the works completed within the complex in Plyakovo.

After the meeting, Minister of Defense took a tour of the Metalworking Plant Kursumlia to learn about the manufacturing process and talk to the young engineers employed in the factory.

During the tour, the company management presented the manufacturing program and the next stages of development planned for the factory. Additionally, the Minister was able to see the exhibited armored fighting vehicles Lazar 3, Lazar 3M, Milos and Milos 2.

The meeting held today was also attended by State Secretary Nemanja Starovic, Deputy Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradovic, Special Advisor in the Ministry of Defense and Chairman of the Board of JP Jugoimport SDPR Nikola Banjac, and Chief of Staff to the Minister of Defense Brigadier General Goran Momcilovic.
