International Defense Industry Fair "IDEF 2021", Istanbul, Turkey

Held in Istanbul, Turkey, in the period from 17th to 20th August 2021, was the exhibition of armaments and defense equipment „IDEF 2021".

Given that „IDEF" is one of the leading defense fairs in the world, the presentation of R&D and production programs and technological capacities of Jugoimport-SDPR and the defense industry of Serbia has been accordingly designed to attract the widest possible audience.

The exhibition introduced major achievements in the area of current defense R&D and production programs, based on which one could recognize the trends in development of armaments and defense equipment to be used in some weapon systems in the future.

The exhibition stand of Jugoimport-SDPR, the integrator of the Serbian defense industry, was set up in Hall 5, covering a 120m2 floor area at a very attractive location. The armaments and defense equipment presented there demonstrated the product ranges as well as R&D and production capacities of both Jugoimport-SDPR and other companies making the Serbian defense industry.

During the presentation, the focus was set on standard ammunition, artillery weapons – primarily those from the family of NORA-B/52 systems, rocket ammunition (the latest GRAD rockets, having the 52 km range), wheeled combat vehicles Lazar and Milosh, vehicle mounted weapons and subsystems, powders and explosives production capacities, ALAS guided missile, POS launcher, light anti-tank rocket system NOVA, helicopter mounted armaments, aircraft subsystems, multipurpose fast patrol boats etc.

The stand of Jugoimport-SDPR was the place where a number of successful meetings and presentations were held, and numerous foreign delegations and commercial visitors hosted.
