Joint Tactical Exercise with Live Firing "Joint Action 2020"

The exercise "Joint Action 2020" was conducted at the military range "Pešter" with the participation of approximately 2,800 members of the Air Force and Air Defense, the Army, the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and the 63rd Parachute Brigade and more than 150 combat and non-combat vehicles and combat systems and about 40 aircraft.

The President of the Republic of Serbia and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, the Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, the Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin, as well as a part of the Government members attended the Joint Tactical Exercise with Live Firing "Joint Action 2020"at the temporary range "Pešter".

The exercise "Joint Action 2020" was carried out under the assumption that the enemy's armed forces carried out armed aggression through coordinated activities and temporarily occupied a part of the territory of Serbia with two combat groups waiting to bring their new forces.

The joint forces of the Serbian Army undertook an offensive operation in order to drive out the enemy forces, protect the population and establish peace and stability.

The joint tactical exercise "Joint Action 2020" demonstrated a part of the capabilities of Serbian Army units in conducting joint forces operations.

The operational capabilities of the Serbian Army were significantly improved by the armored combat vehicles "Lazar 3" and "Miloš", from the production program of Jugoimport-SDPR, which again demonstrated their performance: firepower, high level of protection and exceptional maneuverability in different field conditions.

There were multi-purpose 8x8 armored combat vehicles "Lazar 3" and 4x4 armored combat vehicles "Miloš". The multipurpose 8x8 armored combat vehicles "Lazar 3" and 4x4 armored combat vehicles "Miloš" are armed with a modern remote controlled weapon station with a 12.7 mm machine gun, which is also from the development and production program of Jugoimport-SDPR, while one statically displayed "Miloš" vehicle was armed with a 7.62 x 51 mm Gatling machine gun.

In addition to armored combat vehicles, 155 mm self-propelled howitzers "Nora", a modern self-propelled weapon from Jugoimport-SDPR production program, provided great firepower. The fire support was achieved by the battery of Nora howitzers, which fired with strong, sudden and quick fire at the targets of tactical, operational and strategic importance at long ranges.
