15th International Defense Exhibition “IDEX 2021”, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Ever since 2003, Jugoimport-SDPR J.P. has been traditionally and continually exhibiting at this prestigious and one of the largest defense exhibitions in the world (hall 12, pavilion D30), with the aim of promoting the capabilities and new achievements of the Serbian defense industry in the area of weapons and military equipment. This year, the representatives of the following Serbian defense companies have joined Jugoimport-SDPR J.P.: HC "Krušik", "Zastava Arms", "Sloboda" a.d., "Prva Petoletka Trstenik" d.o.o. (PPT), "Prva iskra-namenska" a.d. (PIB). This group of government companies was joined by "EI-Opek" a.d., "Iritel" a.d., "Proizvodnja Mile Dragić", and "Horus".

On the first day of the exhibition, Mr. Nebojša Stefanović, Minister of Defense of the RS, has visited the pavilion of Jugoimport-SDPR J.P., reviewing the presented range of products of the Serbian defense industry.

International Defense Exhibition "IDEX" is held every other year, under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bih Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and the Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces.

"IDEX" is the only exhibition in the region of Middle East and Northern Africa presenting the latest technological advancements in all branches of defense forces. Since the exhibition attracts the attention of state and army representatives, or the users of the weapon systems and military equipment, it is a major opportunity to show the world what Serbia can offer in the area of defense industry.

Organized in the National Exhibition Center in Abu Dhabi, this year's exhibition has gathered, even under the conditions of the corona virus pandemic, more than 900 exhibitors from 59 countries, fully respecting the prescribed protective health and epidemiological measures to prevent spreading of the Covid-19 disease.
