Live Firings From the Newly Introduced and Upgraded Serbian Armed Forces Artillery Weapons

At Pasuljanske livade training ground, members of the Serbian Army artillery battalion performed live firings from upgraded and modern artillery systems that were recently introduced into Serbian Armed Forces armaments.

It was the final stage of the months-long training of the professional staff of artillery battalions to provide fire support to maneuver units in offensive and defensive operations of the Army.

During the intensive activities at the training ground, the combat activities and procedures of the crew of the 155 mm self-propelled howitzer B-52 M-15, Nora, 128 mm self-propelled multi-barrel rocket launcher M-77, Oganj, and 122 mm self-propelled howitzer 2S1 "Gvozdika" were practiced. After the training, live firings were performed, during which their capability to perform specific tasks was checked in practice.

The excellent results achieved during the live firings prove the quality of the training and the reliability of these artillery weapons, which, having been upgraded, have greater firepower, speed and accuracy of fire and achieve a greater effect on the target with simultaneous impact of multiple projectiles.

The equipping of the Serbian Armed Forces with modern artillery systems and the upgrade of the existing ones significantly improved the capabilities of this branch of the Serbian Armed Forces for achieving sudden, fast and accurate artillery fire on targets of tactical, operational and strategic importance at long ranges
