Exhibition of Armaments and Military Equipment “Partner 2019“
The show was officially opened by the Minister of Defense, Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vulin. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Serbia and the Commander-in-Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić, Chairmen of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Milorad Dodik, Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Mr. Zoran Djordjević, Chief of General Staff, Serbian Armed Forces, Gen. Milan Mojsilović, and other esteemed guests.
The guests were addressed by the Minister of Defense, Mr. Aleksandar Vulin, and the General Director of Jugoimport-SDPR J.P., Mr. Jugoslav Petković. In his welcome speech to the distinguished guests, Mr. Jugoslav Petković underlined that Jugoimport-SDPR J.P. had invested more than 100 million Euros in the past six years in new technologies, production and production capacities and various projects like: Missile system "Alas", MLRS "Shumadia", Self-propelled artillery weapon "Alexandar", combat vehicles "Milosh" and "Lazar", unmanned helicopter "Hornet", unmmaned aerial vehicle "Alecs", etc., some of which were already in service. Also, he reminded of the great jubilee, the 70th anniversary of Jugoimport-SDPR J.P.
Ministry of Defense and Defense Industry of Serbia presented a video showing their latest accomplishments in development and production of armaments, and a video on the 70th anniversary of Jugoimport-SDPR J.P.
Further on the jubilee, the army officials and numerous foreign delegations visiting the exhibition of armaments and military equipment "Partner 2019" attended a functional presentation and demonstration of armaments held at Nikinci firing range, including a live firing from weapons coming from the range of R&D and production programs of Jugoimport-SDPR J.P. and the defense industry of Serbia.
The exhibition "Partner 2019" showed a number of technological novelties, one of them being "Tamnava", a self-propelled multi-tube modular rocket launcher produced by Jugoimport-SDPR J.P. The weapon is capable of launching two types of rockets, cal. 122 mm and 262 mm, with automatic loading and swift replacement of modules using its own crane. The projectiles of cal. 262 mm are effective at ranges up to 70 km. The major feature of "Tamnava" is the lethality and impressive rate of fire – it can launch up to 96 rockets cal. 122 mm in a matter of minutes.
The latest releases of this year's exhibition were the remotely controlled weapon stations intended for a single-barrel ("CYCLOPS") and triple-barrel ("CERBERUS") guns cal. 20 mm, and equipped with an opto-electronic fire control system. The weapon stations are intended for use on the armored combat vehicles Miloš, Lazar and BOV.
The exhibition hosted more than 130 exhibitors, 30 of which were from abroad. Companies from Austria, Belorussia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, UK, Denmark, China, France, Italy, Germany, USA, Switzerland and other countries presented their projects and results.
The exhibition was visited by a large number of foreign delegations and partners.
