Armoured combat vehicles “Milosh” used in execution of various military police missions
Throughout the year, Military Police battalions of the Serbian Army conduct a wide range of tactical and live firing training activities.
In accordance with the training program and under the supervision and guidance of commanders and instructors, tactical procedures and actions related to military police activities are practiced. These activities include crime suppression, counter-terrorism operations, enforcement and maintenance of military order and discipline and military traffic control.
To carry out the assigned tactical scenarios and military police tasks, “Milosh” armoured combat vehicles equipped with the RCWS with a 12.7 mm machine gun are used, as well as motorcycles, modern telecommunication and IT systems, remote controlled aircraft, which have been integrated into the Military Police units in recent years.
The Military Police units are equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and armaments of both indigenous and foreign production. Among the weapons of domestic production that have been in use for many years are armoured combat vehicles “Milosh.
The armoured multi-purpose vehicle, with 4x4 drive – Milosh belongs to the category of modern armoured vehicles intended for the performance of wide range of missions in the activities of Police and Armed Forces. The main concept of the vehicle is based on a self-supporting hull, modern drive and transmission assemblies, and an independent suspension system which ensures high mobility in any terrain and weather conditions with the maximum combat weight exceeding 14 tons.
The vehicle can be used for: patrol missions, reconnaissance missions, as a command vehicle, for transportation and support to the units for special operations, in anti-guerrilla, anti-terrorism and anti-tank operations, for the control of borders and territories, etc.
