Intensive Activities of the Serbian Armed Forces in the Second Part of the "Victor 2026" Exercise
Held on the training grounds of the Serbian Armed Forces – SAF and outside its peacetime locations, the ongoing activities involve intensive training and live firing of the SAF units participating in the second part of the joint tactical exercise "Victor 2026".
During the several days’ activities, the army members practiced live firing from personal and crew-served weapons, and tactical activities when on the move, using viewing devices with new capabilities that enable the SAF unit commanders and members better situational awareness and efficiency in performing the tasks. Particularly notable was participation of multi-purpose armored combat vehicles "Lazar 3".
At the same time, the exercise is used to test the field skills and operations of the units, starting from arranging a field encampment, establishing the command post and telecommunication protection, to providing conditions for accommodation and messing of the engaged personnel.
The joint tactical exercise "Victor 2026" shall continue until October 4th, 2026. The activities performed so far proved high level of training, readiness, and professionalism of the SAF members, and their capability to efficiently use new and modernized weapons and systems.
