Delegation of the Ministry of Defence on the Exhibition Stand of Yugoimport-SDPR at Eurosatory 2026 Defence Exhibition
Delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, led by the Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources, Mr. Nenad Miloradović, visited the International Defence and Security Exhibition Eurosatory in Paris, at the invitation of the French Ministry of Defence.

The exhibition was also visited by expert delegations from Military Technical Institute (MTI) and Serbian Armed Forces (SAF), as well as by the representatives of a number of companies within the Serbian Defence Industry group. They, together with other Serbian companies registered for production and trade of armaments and defence equipment, made a joint appearance at the stand of Yugoimport-SDPR.

During the exhibition, significant contracts were signed with French companies Dassault Aviation, Dassault Systems and Thales, aimed to establish industrial cooperation with Serbian defence industry within the programme for procurement of the “Rafale” multi-role fighter aircraft. The contracts were signed with MTI and the factory Utva – Aircraft Industry, Pančevo.
The visit provided an opportunity to arrange meetings with officials from other partner countries with which Serbia and Ministry of Defence have well-established bilateral relations.
During negotiations with delegation from Cypriot Ministry of Defence, led by the Minister Vasilis Palmas, the ongoing military and technical cooperation was reviewed. At the occasion, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Yugoimport-SDPR and Cypriot company “Cellock”, in the presence of the officials from the Armaments and Defence Capabilities Development Directorate of the Ministry of Defence, Republic of Cyprus. The memorandum opened the doors to expansion of ongoing cooperation to a joint development and production of modern combat systems.

Moreover, a number of expert meetings were held with representatives of French, as well as other European and globally renowned companies, covering actual and future cooperation projects in the fields of research, development, and production of armaments and defence equipment that would lead to introducing the state of the art defence equipment to the Serbian Army.

A number of Serbian companies, which traditionally take part in the exhibition under the wing of Yugoimport-SDPR as the integrator, presented their latest achievements and new products, many of which have been recognized by the prominent experts and partners worldwide. Among others, there were representatives of “Zastava Arms”, HC “Krušik”, “Sloboda”, “Teleoptic Gyroscopes”, “Trayal”, and “Ei-OPEK”.
Once again this year, the exhibition space of Yugoimport-SDPR, as the integrator of Serbian defence industry, drew outstanding interest of numerous officials, which resulted in new contracts signed and agreements made on various inter-industrial and commercial cooperation in the upcoming years. The foreign partners were interested in drones, and new types of ammunition and their components offered by Serbian manufacturers.

Eurosatory 2026, opened by the Minister of Defence of the Republic of France, Ms. Catherine Vautrin, hosted more than 2,600 exhibitors from 68 countries this year, and attracted more than 80,000 visitors, which placed it in line with the largest and most renowned international exhibitions of the kind in the world. The exhibition was marked by the presentation of new solutions in the fields of UAVs, multi-level and hybrid anti-drone systems, electronic warfare and jamming systems, and new unmanned and robotic platforms.
