Premiere of the Tactical Armored Vehicle “Alexander the Unifier”
On today’s military parade titled "Power of Unity", held to mark the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag, “Alexander the Unifier”, the latest member of the family of 4x4 multirole armored vehicles, has been shown for the first time, in two configurations - as a tactical command vehicle of the Raven system unit, and as a platform for an 8-container launcher of the Raven loitering munition.
The name “Alexander the Unifier” stands for a family of 4x4 multirole tactical armored vehicles intended for a wide range of tactical missions, both for internal security and military operations.
The vehicles can be used in conflicts of various levels of intensity, from the typically low-level intensity conflicts – asymmetrical warfare, anti-terrorist and anti-guerrilla operations, to different categories of medium-level intensity conflicts.
The idea behind the concept is based on integration of various configurations of armored hull superstructure with a universal 4x4 chassis and independent suspension system featuring high carrying capacity and off-road mobility. The vehicle can be furnished with various equipment and armaments, to fit the main mission or the intended purpose.
Depending on the superstructure configuration, the vehicle can be intended for:
- High-risk or ambush patrols;
- Observation, surveillance and territory control operations;
- Transport and fire support to special operations units;
- Anti-tank and anti-aircraft defense using low range missiles;
- Integration with loitering munition weapon systems, artillery and fire support systems, external rocket launchers, artillery fire control system etc.;
