Tactical Demonstration “POVRATAK 2019 ”, Nikinci

The exercise was attended by the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior Mr. Nebojša Stefanović, Minister of Defense Mr. Aleksandar Vulin, Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Committee of the People's Republic of China Gen. Zhang Youxia, management of the public company „Jugoimport-SDPR", and other esteemed guests.

During the exercise, 133 members of the Special anti-terrorist unit, Gendarmerie, and the Helicopter unit of the Ministry of Interior have demonstrated a joint operation and deployment in the scenario of an armed sabotage and terrorist group holding a building, including the hostage rescue operation.

The following armored combat vehicles and their weapon systems, manufactured and modernized by the R&D and production department of „Jugoimport-SDPR", have been introduced into the MI units on the occassion: 8x8 multi-role combat armored vehicle „Lazar", 4x4 combat armored vehicle „Miloš", modernized BOV vehicles, overhauled & modernized self-propelled weapon system „Praga" etc.

Particularly interesting was the part of demonstration reserved for live firing from the vehicle mounted weapon systems, and from the firing ports of the vehicle, using small arms, as well as the functional demonstration of cross-country cababilities of the vehicles.

The helicopter units taking part in the hostage rescue operation were also equipped with weapons developed by „Jugoimport-SDPR".
