Demonstration of the Serbian Armed Forces capabilities and armament of the “Flag 2024”
The demonstration of the Serbian Armed Forces capabilities and armament “Flag 2024” was held today at the military air base “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlovic” in Batajnica.
The demonstration was attended by the President of the Republic and the Commander-in-chief of the Serbian Armed Forces - Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, the Minister of Defence - Mr. Bratislav Gasic, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff – General Milan Mojsilovic, the President of the Republic of Srpska – Mr. Milorad Dodik, the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Mrs. Zeljka Cvijanovic, the Prime Minister of Serbia – Mr. Milos Vucevic, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska – Mr. Nenad Stevandic, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska – Mr. Radovan Viskovic, Ministers in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the management staff of Yugoimport-SDPR, and other distinguished guests from the country and abroad.
On this occasion, President Vucic expressed his gratitude to the people from private companies and “Yugoimport” for the weapons demonstrated at today’s exhibition.
At the military air base in Batajnica, the weapons from Yugoimport-SDPR production program could be seen – multipurpose combat armored vehicles 8x8 “Lazar 3”, “Lazar 3M” and “Lazar 3K”, combat armored vehicles 4x4 “Milos” and “Milos 2”, self-propelled gun howitzers “Nora B52”, “Nora B52 M21” and “Nora B52 NG”, aircraft “Sova” and “Lasta”, as well as the equipment from the Yugoimport-SDPR development program: infantry combat vehicle “Lazanski”, multiple modular self-propelled rocket launcher 122/262 “Tamnava”, multiple modular self-propelled rocket launcher of long range “Sumadija”, long-range anti-tank missile systems “Alas” and “Nova”, the unmanned aerial vehicle – drone “Gavran”, etc.
In the central area, in front of the stage, 70 “Milos” vehicles were presented, including vehicles equipped for UN peacekeeping missions and prototypes with an integrated launch and guidance system “Nova” and a drone guidance system “Gavran”, over 50 “Lazar 3” and “Lazar 3M” vehicles and about twenty vehicles BOV M11 and M15/M15A upgraded by Yugoimport-SDPR.
At today’s demonstration, more than 6000 members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces were engaged, around 2500 weapons and defence equipment and more than 50 aircraft. The visitors had the opportunity to see the flight program, demonstration of the capabilities of the special forces and the Air Force and Air Defense, as well as a parade of the Serbian Armed Forces units.
