Celebration of the Serbian Armed Forces Day and the Victory Day in Nikinci on 9 May 2017

The Nikinci demonstration was visited by the President of Serbia, Mr. Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Ministers and other Government officials, the President of the Serb Republic, Mr. Milorad Dodik, Slovenian Minister of Defense, Ms. Andreja Katic, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, of the Serbian Armed Forces, of the Ministry of Interior, the military and diplomatic corps in the Republic of Serbia and other honorable guests.

The dynamic demonstration featured joint operation of the Serbian MoD, Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior with more than 30 types of defense equipment, that included live firing and firing weapons from aircraft and helicopters.

In addition to tanks and other weapons used by the Armed Forces, the fire power of SP NORA Gun-Howitzer and of the multi-role armored vehicles „Milos" and „Lazar" was presented, as well as the remotely controlled robotic vehicle „Little Milos", „ALAS", upgraded „Oganj", „Morava" multiple rocket launcher, PASARS anti-aircraft system etc.

The guests had the opportunity to see the operation of the air support „GAMA" helicopter designed for incapacitating and destroying armored weapons and fortifications with MALYUTKA missles, „Orao" aircraft using rockets, missiles and bombs of different weight classes against varius ground targets.

After the demonstration, the guests reviewed the troops and equipment, and visited the Jugoimport-SDPR's permanent display of defense equipment.

More than 500 members of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Armed Forces and the representatives of the Serbian defense industry and Jugoimport-SDPR participated in the event.
