Training on the Modern Armoured Combat Vehicles “Milosh”
Intensive training of crews of the 4x4 M-16 “Milosh” multi-role combat armored vehicles is being held at the Serbian Armed Forces training grounds in Prokuplje and its vicinity, with the aim of preparing these vehicles for employment in the peacekeeping operations.

In addition to certain units of the land branch of the Serbian Armed Forces, the “Milosh” combat vehicle is also employed by an infantry company in the execution of missions in the UN peacekeeping operations in Lebanon.

According to the training program, the senior officers and the soldiers preparing for the duties of the commander, gunner and driver of the “Milosh” combat vehicle, are now undergoing theoretical and practical training in classrooms and at the training grounds, including the operation of the weapons, as well as optronic, thermal imaging and radar systems for surveillance and tracking, the mastery of driving techniques on various terrain configurations, and maintenance and repair possible malfunctions.

In the next stage of the training, the crews will practice off-road driving on specialized training grounds, including obstacles negotiations and will carry out live firing from the vehicles’ integrated weapon systems, which will be followed by a collective training within an infantry company and the evaluation exercise to test their readiness for deployment in operations in an international environment.

The “Milos” armoured combat vehicle is distinguished by a high degree of mobility under various conditions and by modular ballistic protection of the crew, which, along with its integrated armament, modern subsystem and a range of design solutions, makes it suitable for employment in the Serbian Armed Forces units of different roles.
