International Defence Exhibition “SOFEX 2018“, Amman – Jordan

The exhibition opened with the performance of a counter-terrorism exercise demonstrating the skills and professionalism of the Royal Jordanian Armed Forces. The tactical demonstration at "SOFEX 2018" included the Jordanian Air Force, Jordan's Joint Special Operations Command as well as the Quick Reaction Force.

This was Jugoimport-SDPR's 8th consecutive appearance at "SOFEX" exhibition since 2004, and its development and production programs as well as the technological possibilities of the defence industry of Serbia have been presented there.

The presentation placed a special accent on the conventional artillery systems and the multiple rocket launchers, the anti-tank missile systems, mortars, infantry weapons and equipment and the corresponding artillery, mortars, medium range and infantry ammunition.

A special interest of the visitors was attracted by the displayed scale models of: armored multi-purpose vehicle "Lazar 3", combat vehicle "Milos", self-propelled howitzer 155 mm "Nora", self-propelled howitzer 155 mm "Aleksandar", modular self-propelled multiple rocket launcher "Sumadija" and unmanned aerial vehicle "Strsljen".

The Jugoimport-SDPR's exhibition stand was visited by HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, as well as the representatives of the Jordanian company KADDB (King Abdulah Design and Development Bureau), other numerous delegations and a great number of commercial visitors.

The International Defence Exhibition "SOFEX 2018" was attended by 350 companies from 35 countries. Also, 99 official delegations from 53 countries took part as well.
