Armament display at the plateau of the Military Academy

The President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Nebojša Stefanović, the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, and other dignitaries, including the top management of J.P. Jugoimport-SDPR, attended today at the Military Academy the display of newly produced weapons and military equipment of the domestic defense industry for the needs of the Serbian Armed Forces.

More than 30 weapons were displayed at the plateau of the Military Academy, among which the most prominent place was occupied by the weapons from the Jugoimport-SDPR production program, namely: 12 pieces of 8x8 multi-purpose armored fighting vehicles "LAZAR-3" with a 12.7 mm remote controlled weapon station, 6 pieces of 155 mm self-propelled gun howitzers "Nora" B52 and 4x4 armored fighting vehicle "Milos" with 20/3 mm remote controlled weapon station "KERBER". RCWS "KERBER" with a triple barreled 20 mm gun designed primarily to destroy and disable ground and water surface targets (moving and stationary vessels) at effective ranges of up to 2000 m, as well as for the destruction of air targets (slower low-flying aircraft, helicopters, drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles, etc.) at distances up to 1500 m.

In addition to the above, the following were also shown: "Pasars", modernized surveillance and acquisition radar P-12M, modernized "Oganj" digitized, universal mobile artillery computing station UPARS, all-terrain 4x4 vehicle Zastava NTV 1.4t, vehicle FAP 2228, automatic grenade launcher (BGA) 30mm, pistol "Zastava" EZ9/ EZ40, optical sight M20 (4x32) and reflex sight RS-C, as well as battalion mobile switching node PKČ and remotely piloted aircraft "Pegasus".
