Turret 20/1

20 mm turret has been designed for integration with various types of armoured fighting vehicles, both wheeled and tracked, as effective asset for increasing combat capabilities.

Turret’s firepower is represented by:
  •  20 mm automatic gun, effective against aerial as well as against lightly armoured ground targets and manpower
  •  7.62 coaxially mounted machine gun
  •  twin launching rails for Malyutka anti-armour missiles
  •  day/night sight enabling round-the-clock battlefield observation, target acquisition and engagement

Day/night sight, mounted in the turret as separate unit, enables the gunner to successfully align and aim the gun and machine gun both day and night, and fire anti-armour missiles by day. Night sighting device is based on Gen 2 image intensifier, with optional integration of thermal imaging camera.

20mm M55 automatic gun (HSS 404 licensed)

20mm M55 automatic gun is designed to effectively engage low flying fixed and rotary wing aircraft; unmanned aerial vehicles; lightly armoured targets such as IFVs and APCs as well as concentrations of enemy manpower. The gun is effective at ranges of up to 1500 m when engaging ground targets, or at 2000 m when engaging aerial targets.

Gas operated automatic weapon, with modified feeding mechanism that enables belt, instead of drum feeding thus increasing the amount of the ready-to-use ammunition by 3.5 times. One 200 rounds belt is in ready to fire position, with additional 200 rounds belt stowed in the ammunition box. M55 gun uses standard 20 x 110mm HSS ammunition. For elimination of any stoppage during operation, the gunner can approach the gun without leaving the turret.

-  limited automatic fire of     10 rounds

-  long automatic fire,             10-20 rounds
